The Genesis Tree in Path of Exile 3.27 gives players a new way to turn gameplay into items and money. You earn Graftblood from Breach encounters and spend it on the tree to make Wombgifts produce rewards. Many players use the tree to push for currency items they can sell for PoE 1 Currency or to make strong gear for themselves. This system can earn steady returns if you plan which nodes to unlock and what items to target.

Start with Breaches to farm Graftblood

The first step is clear: run Breach content to get Graftblood and Wombgifts. The more Breaches you clear and the more enemies you kill in them, the more Graftblood you will collect. You need that resource to power the tree and to grow Wombgifts into items. Treat Breaches like a resource run: pick efficient maps, use clear speed, and aim to finish many encounters in a short time.

Spend points where they pay off — currency and crafting nodes

When you open the Genesis Tree, spend points on nodes that boost currency drops and crafting options first. Nodes that push Lavish or direct currency rewards tend to pay back fastest because you can sell those items for PoE 1 Currency. Also pick nodes that give Fractured Bases or Targeted Mods if you want to craft items that the market wants. These choices set up a steady loop: farm blood, craft saleable items, sell for currency, then fund more Graftblood runs.

Unlock Graft Hands and Wombs to scale output

After you fund early nodes, prioritize Graft Hands and Graft Wombs. Graft Hands let the tree produce many of the same item type and they work well for mass production. Graft Wombs let you spawn extra rewards and scale how fast you make items. Together they let you turn a single optimized run into a large batch of sellable goods or craft bases. Use them when you have steady Graftblood income so you can press production without constant micromanage.

Craft smart: pick high-demand targets and test often

Use Fractured Bases to lock in strong starting mods and then add high-value affixes that the market wants. For profit, focus on items that sell well right now — jewels, 6-link bodies, or high-tier crafting mats often move fast. Use low-cost Wombgifts for mass attempts and save heavier Graftblood for targeted runs where you want high-tier results. Track what buyers want each week and tune your tree to produce those things rather than random drops.

Use respecs and small experiments to stay flexible

One big advantage of the Genesis Tree is respec freedom. If you find a better path or the market shifts, you can change your allocations and test new setups without losing everything. Run short experiments: change one node, run a batch of Wombgifts, and check if the output improved. Over time, these small tests teach you which nodes give steady profit and which are dead weight.

Put it together: steady runs, sales, and PoE 1 Currency gains

To make this system work, repeat efficient Breach runs, feed the tree with Graftblood, and focus production on items that sell. Use Graft Hands to scale and Fractured Bases when you need guaranteed high-value starts. Sell the best items for Poe 1 Divine Orb and then reinvest a portion of the income into more runs. Do small changes and keep notes on what sells — that habit turns the Genesis Tree from a toy into a reliable income loop.
